Cross-Country Road Trip Day 22
The manager of the hotel was equally unpleasant when we checked out this morning. Looks like a poor review is in his future!
We drove from Beaver to Salt Lake City. The closer we got, the more traffic we encountered.
Before checking into our hotel, we visited Antelope Island State Park. I knew they had a lot of bison and they were fairly easy to photography. I really wanted to see the pronghorn antelope, though, but as usual these animals are very elusive.
It was so sad to see how little water was left in the south end of the Great Salt Lake!
Our hotel in Layton was only a few miles away and was really convenient to stores and restaurants. Billy went out to a brewery and came back with a 6-pack. After opening one, he declared it awful and went back out to another bar and spent the evening making friends with a local chap.
