My adventures are as diverse as my friends. I'm an advid long-distance bike rider, cook, author, artist, volunteer, mother, grandmother, and wife.

Tonight's campsite is at Larrabee State Park, maki Tonight's campsite is at Larrabee State Park, making tomorrow morning's start for the 67-mile Tour de Whatcom a little easier. Before settling in for the night, I wandered 1.3 miles through the forest, and nature definitely rewarded me.
I spotted a curious little lizard soaking up the last of the day's warmth, a bold White-crowned Sparrow that seemed just as interested in me as I was in it, and then... two deer quietly grazing along the trail. 🌿🦎🐦🦌
Sometimes the best part of an adventure happens before you even get on the bike. Here's hoping tomorrow brings beautiful roads, great company, and more unexpected moments to remember.
Wish me luck on the Tour de Whatcom! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ’š

Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹ I'm Anita, and this year I'll be v Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹

I'm Anita, and this year I'll be volunteering as one of the support drivers for RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party)! 🚴🚐

If you see me out on the course, don't hesitate to wave, say hello, or let me know if you need a hand. Whether it's helping get you back on the road, offering encouragement, or simply cheering you on, I'm excited to be part of your adventure.

One of my favorite things about cycling events is the incredible community. Riders, volunteers, support crews, and spectators all come together to make something special happen. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you and helping make your RSVP experience safe, fun, and memorable.

Wishing everyone smooth roads, favorable winds, and an unforgettable ride! See you at RSVP!
