My adventures are as diverse as my friends. I'm an advid long-distance bike rider, cook, author, artist, volunteer, mother, grandmother, and wife.

I’m loving having my Golden Copper hair back! 🧡✨ A I’m loving having my Golden Copper hair back! 🧡✨ After going back to the color I used to wear before my gray started taking over, I wanted something to keep that warm, vibrant copper looking fresh between colorings.

The Golden Copper Color Depositing Mask from @overtonecolor has been perfect for that. It adds just the right boost of rich, warm color and keeps my hair looking vibrant and shiny.

And honestly… I’m pretty happy to see this color again! 🧡

Even without makeup, I don't think I look my 67+ years!

One of the best things about bike touring is that One of the best things about bike touring is that you never know what you'll discover next. 🚴‍♀️🌊

Today we revisited some of our favorite spots on Lopez Island, soaking in the quiet coves, rocky shorelines, and peaceful island roads. Then, just as my stomach started reminding me it was lunchtime, we stumbled across a little market making the freshest sandwiches. Talk about perfect timing! 🥪

Fueled up, we rolled back into Lopez Village where Patrick finally got his well-earned beer. 🍺 Every cyclist has their preferred recovery drink... mine just happened to be lemonade!

Some rides are about the miles. Others are about the memories you make between them. This one was definitely both.

Have you ever found an unexpected little café or market that turned into the highlight of your ride?
