Cross-Country Road Trip Day 4

Cross-Country Road Trip Day 4

We left Jamestown and start the day with a visit to a frontier village, but again, we were too early.

The next stop was to see the world’s largest buffalo. The museum was closed, but we were able to take some photos of the buffalo and the area.

Next, we stopped in Rothsay, MN, to see the world’s largest prairie chicken.

We drove to Fergus Falls where our glimpse of the very large Otto the Otter was eclipsed by a large tree hosting a rookery of both cormorants and egrets, all with nests full of babies! There were also a lot of gulls and geese running around.

Fergus Falls was quite lovely and I could see myself living there if it weren’t for the snow in the winter.

We spent the night in Eau Claire, WI.
