Cross-Country Road Trip Day 25
We left Mountain Home to dive to Biggs Junction, OR, our next hotel stop along the way. There wasn’t anything too exciting on the trip, however, once we were in Oregon and started to see more conifers and mountains, I knew we were close to home!
Before going to our motel, I drove over to the Maryhill Stonehenge so Billy could see it. We were going to go back that evening after dark to see the night sky and Milky Way, but it was too damn hot!
We spent the night at Three Rivers Inn which is one of the few places at this truck stop junction (not much else). The only food was fast food and poor Billy paid for it during the night.
It was hotter than hell outside at 109°! After walking across the street to McDonald’s and back, I was drenched in sweat!.
We’ll arrive home tomorrow and the temperature is supposed to be even hotter!
