Cross-Country Road Trip Day 15
Nancy dropped off my mother-in-law, Wanda, around 9:30am. After some coffee, we headed towards Perry Country so I could show her where I grew up. On the way, we stopped at the Fort Hunter mansion for a tour. I also stopped in Elliottsburg to see the graves of my great-grandfather, George Sweger, and great-great-grandfather, William Sweger, and some of my other kin buried there. It was sad to see the deterioration of most of the gravestones.
For dinner that night, I made PA Dutch beef pot pie since Wanda never had it before and it had been years since I made it.
