Celebrating Easter

I’m not a religious person, so celebrating Easter is just another day for me. I’m happy to spend time with my grandkids, though, and watch them enjoy the holiday.

This year, Marcus and Haylee invited us over to their place. We kicked off with a small Easter egg hunt for the kids. MJ caught on really quick that he needed to find the eggs and put them in his basket. He had quite a lot by the time it was over!

After the Easter egg hunt, we hung out and munched on snacks. Haylee had prepared a gorgeous spread! Marcus, meanwhile, was smoking a pork shoulder and some ribs. He also did up some garlic corn that he put on the grill.

We were so full of food by the time we left. It was also good to see Amiyah and Avenleigh after so many months apart!
