Cross-Country Road Trip Day 14
After breakfast, I took Haylee and MJ to Hershey before their flight back to Seattle. I think daddy was sad to see them go.
We went to Chocolate World and did the tour. MJ really loved it, but he went a little nuts in the store…he wanted everything! Haylee had to appease him by buying him two Matchbox cars (a brown Hershey’s truck and an orange Reese’s car).
We stopped at Friendly’s for lunch where I had their lobster roll. It was good, but not nearly as good as the fresh lobster I got on my roll in Maine!

After lunch, we went in search of one of the old farm dormitories where my grandparents worked in the 1960’s. I only found the one I knew the most and went inside for a mini tour. It is now a real estate office and the receptionist loved hearing what used to be in each room or area. I have some very fond memories of this house since I spent a lot of time in the summer with my grandparents at this location.

When then drove up to Hotel Hershey and went to the gardens that included a butterfly house. MJ hadn’t seen butterflies before and he really liked them. He also loved the little children’s gard where he could make music.
All too soon it was time to take them to the airport.

When I got back to the house, daddy took off his hat and showed me what he had done at the doctors that day. He went in for an EEG and came home with wires tapped all over his head. He had to wear it for two nights. I teased him and asked if he chose this over an anal probe from the aliens! LOL
