Cross-Country Road Trip Day 1
June 2, 2021
We left Seattle close to 7:00 a.m. and departed for our adventure.
We first drove on I-90 to the wild horses monument in Vantage then went to the Feathers at Frenchman Coulee.

Next we stopped in Spokane at Riverfront Park where there was a giant red wagon. The tongue of the wagon was made into a slide.

We drove around Coeur d’Alene admiring the beautiful views. Though we didn’t plan it, we made an impromptu stop at an old mission which is the oldest building in the state of Idaho.

In Wallace, Idaho, we stopped at the Red Light Garage but it was closed. We did, however, get a picture of Wanda in front of the funky spaceship. Wallace considers itself the center of the universe so it’s competing with Fremont in Seattle.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Missoula. It wasn’t bad and was clean however it did have a very strong Cherry scent from their deodorizer that was unpleasant.
