My adventures are as diverse as my friends. I'm an advid long-distance bike rider, cook, author, artist, volunteer, mother, grandmother, and wife.

Finally—a rack bag that actually fits an e-bike ba Finally—a rack bag that actually fits an e-bike battery!

I’ve been looking for a rack bag that could carry a spare e-bike battery for years. The last time I seriously looked, back in 2021, the bags available either weren’t long enough or, even if they were, the top zipper opening wasn’t long enough to actually get the battery inside. Frustrating!

This bag finally solves the problem. My spare battery fits perfectly, and I still have plenty of room for everything else I need on a long ride—a spare tube, bike tools, a compressor pump, snacks, and more.

What really surprised me is how much additional storage you get from the expandable side pockets. They open up into panniers, giving me a LOT more carrying capacity when I need it.

I also didn’t realize when I ordered it that it comes with a waterproof cover, which is a great bonus here in the Pacific Northwest.

If you’re an e-bike rider who needs to carry a spare battery and a lot of gear, I highly recommend this bag. It’s roomy, versatile, and—most importantly—it actually fits the battery!

Through Cascade Bicycle Club’s Pedaling Relief Program, we rescue good food that might otherwise go to waste and help get it where it’s needed. It’s one of those things that reminds me that a bike can be so much more than transportation—it can be a way to make a difference.

And I especially love my Sunday rides because they check three boxes for me:
🚲 Exercise
💚 Doing something good for my community
☕ Socializing with bike friends afterward

A little pedaling, a little purpose, and usually a cup of coffee and good conversation to finish it off. My kind of Sunday! ❤️
