Today I traded my apron for the cook's! 😊

Our cook is out for medical reasons, so I stepped into the kitchen at the Wallingford Community Senior Center to help prepare lunch for our members. Today's menu was seafood paella, roasted Brussels sprouts, a fresh mixed salad, and strawberry angel food cake for dessert.

It takes a team to keep things running, and I'm grateful to be able to pitch in wherever I'm needed. There's something special about serving a meal that's made with care and knowing it brings people together around the table.

Volunteering isn't always glamorous, but it's always rewarding. ❤️
