My adventures are as diverse as my friends. I'm an advid long-distance bike rider, cook, author, artist, volunteer, mother, grandmother, and wife.

The ride may be over, but there's one more finish

The ride may be over, but there's one more finish line.

Take a moment to say thank you.

💛 Thank the volunteers who handed you water, bananas, and encouragement.

💛 Thank the mechanics who got riders back on the road.

💛 Thank the medical teams who were there when people needed them.

💛 Thank the churches, schools, and community groups that opened their doors so thousands of us had a place to eat, shower, and sleep.

💛 Thank the police officers and traffic crews who helped keep us safe.

💛 Thank the countless supporters who stood along the route ringing cowbells, cheering, and reminding us why the cycling community is so special.

💛 And thank the incredible staff at @cascadebicycle who spend months planning—and then work tirelessly all weekend—to make STP happen.

A handwritten card. An email. A social media post. Even a simple tag and "thank you" can mean more than you realize.

STP isn't just 206 miles of pavement. It's thousands of people giving their time, energy, and hearts so the rest of us can have an unforgettable weekend.

If someone helped make your ride possible, let them know you noticed.

Overall, I was thrilled with how many photos they took, but I had to do digital darkroom on most of them (underexposed, overexposed and even blurry).
