It's that time of year where I'm not riding my bik

It's that time of year where I'm not riding my bike as much due to weather. I just don't enjoy riding in the rain, especially if it's also cold outside. I do take advantage if it's a nice day, usually by helping the Pedaling Relief Program (rescuing food).

To fill my time, I plan out my next year with adventures and day dream about them. The anticipation and excitement keep me going until April when I start my weekly activities.

I rode with @cascadebicycle to MOHAI to view the new bicycle exhibit.

A neighbor allowed me to pick a basket of Concord

A neighbor allowed me to pick a basket of Concord grapes from her arbor. I used them to make sorbet (2 quarts). Damn, is it ever good!

Concord grapes bring back fond memories from my childhood spent with my grandparents. They had a grape arbor at their farm. My and and I would cover it with a sheet to make a tent - No boys allowed - where we played with dolls and ate the grapes.

In February, I'm heading back go SoCal with @dmmhi

In February, I'm heading back go SoCal with @dmmhill to ride the Tour de Palm Springs again. We rode it in 2023 and loved it so much we just have to go back! I plan to ride the 88 mile route like last time. This time we are renting an AirBnB a block from the start/finish line.

A large bag of Street trash that included heavy pieces and probably weighed about 30 to 35 lb. My back hurts just from lugging that heavy weight.
