Would anyone in the Seattle area like this guillot Would anyone in the Seattle area like this guillotine that my husband made for a party? Maybe for the next protest? It's made with foam and only painted on one side and probably around 7' tall. Probably can't disassemble it easily since it's glued together.
Who else is already planning out the adventures fo Who else is already planning out the adventures for 2026?
This is by tentative schedule.... It really depends on my finances this is what I hope to do.

If anybody is interested in joining me in some of these adventures, let me know in comments!

Want to do something fun by bike as the holiday se Want to do something fun by bike as the holiday season ramps up (and people are losing food benefits)?

Join @cascadebicycle and @seabikeblog on Nov. 22, 2025 for 16th annual Cranksgiving event!

How Cranksgiving 2025 will work
Start:
Gather at Byrd Barr Place (map) at 9 a.m. You'll be handed a manifest card detailing items the chosen food bank needs and suggested grocery sellers. You'll be able to choose your first food bank (University District Food Bank, Rainier Valley Food Bank, or White Center food Bank) Mini-Cranksgiving riders will receive a single manifest for a shorter round-trip back to Byrd Barr Place.

Ride to first Food Bank:
Purchase items on the route to your selected food bank (or designated drop-off location) and complete fun challenges for bonus points. Once at the food bank/drop-off site, deposit your donations in designated bins. Tally your points and receive a stamp as well as a second manifest card from a volunteer.

Ride to second Food Bank:
With a new manifest card in hand, journey back to the Byrd Barr Place Food Bank. Repeat the buying and challenge completion process.

After party
After your ride, celebrate with fellow participants! We'll set up at Central Cinema at 1:00pm, and will announce totals/winners at 2:00pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The event should take roughly 4 hours. Don't stress if you can only ride to one food bank or miss the after-party – your participation alone is cherished!
